Privacy Policy
Last updated 8 October 2026
My Money Mentors Pty Ltd (ABN 63 683 148 843), which operates All Insured (“All Insured”, “we”, “us”), is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information.
1. What we collect
When you ask for a quote on our website, we collect:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your state or territory
- the types of cover you'd like a quote for, the amount of cover you'd like for each, and how you'd prefer to pay for it (through super, out of pocket, or not sure)
- a record of your consent: the exact consent wording shown to you, the date and time you gave it, the web page you were on, and the covers you selected
- technical information about the device you use when you ask for a quote: your IP address, the type of device and, where your browser shares it, its model, operating system, browser, screen size, language and time zone
- your approximate location worked out from your IP address (city, state and postcode area) and your internet provider. This is not your home address
- how you used the quote form: how many pages you viewed before it, whether you've visited before, and how long you spent on each question
- if we ask you to confirm your mobile number with a code, whether the number was confirmed. To stop misuse of the code service, we keep a log of the mobile numbers codes were sent to, with the time and IP address, for 30 days, even if you don't send your request. We don't use that log to contact you
- information about how you reached our site, such as campaign tags (UTM parameters), advertising click identifiers (for example from Facebook, Google, Microsoft or TikTok), the test version of a page you saw, and the website you came from
We also record how people move through the quote form (which question each visit reached and how long it took, the device type and the advertising source), using a random visit number.
If you start a quote but don't send it, we keep the answers you gave (the types of cover, amounts, how you'd pay and your state) with the advertising source, device type and approximate location, for up to 180 days. We don't keep your name, email or phone number unless you send your request (apart from the SMS code log described above). We use this to improve the form and our advertising, and we don't contact you because of it.
If we use advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel, they record which pages you visit and which questions of the quote form you reach, so we can measure our advertising and show you our ads on other websites and apps. They don't receive your answers, cover amounts or contact details. You can opt out by limiting ad tracking in your browser settings and your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, or by emailing info@allinsured.com.au.
We don't collect health information on our website. We don't ask about your medical history, smoking status, occupation or lifestyle. Insurers need some of this information to price cover, so you may be asked for it when you’re contacted about your quotes. The business that contacts you collects it under its own privacy policy, and if you apply, the insurer collects it under its own privacy policy too.
If you email us, we keep a record of that contact.
2. Why we collect it
- to pass your request on to the insurance businesses we work with, so you can be contacted by phone, text message or email and the quotes you asked for can be prepared. We may receive a referral fee for passing on your request
- to keep a record of your consent to be contacted, as evidence that the contact was requested
- to respond to questions and complaints
- to understand how people find and use our website and improve our services and advertising
- to detect and prevent spam and misuse
- to meet our legal and regulatory obligations
3. Who we disclose it to
- The insurance businesses we work with, with your consent, so they can contact you by phone, text message or email and prepare the quotes you asked for. They handle your information under their own privacy policies. You can ask us which business we passed your details to.
- Insurers, if you ask to be referred to the insurer that issues the cover for personal advice.
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting and secure storage of enquiries and form statistics (Cloudflare), text-message verification codes (Twilio), email and record keeping (Google Workspace), and customer relationship management software. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
- Advertising platforms, such as Meta, if we use their measurement tools on our website. These tools record that a page was viewed or a request submitted, and are used to measure our advertising and show you our ads (see section 1).
- Regulators, courts and others where the law requires or permits it.
We don't disclose your personal information to anyone other than the parties described above. We only pass your details on so you can be contacted about the quotes you asked for.
4. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia. Based on the providers we use today, your information may be held in or accessed from the United States and other countries where those providers or their data centres are located, including countries in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
Before disclosing personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it in a way that's consistent with the APPs, as required by APP 8. This includes using providers with published security and privacy commitments and contractual data protection terms.
5. Direct marketing
Your details are only passed on, and you're only contacted, about the cover types named in the consent you give. You can withdraw consent or opt out of further contact at any time by telling the person who contacts you, using the unsubscribe option in any message, or emailing info@allinsured.com.au. If you withdraw your consent, we'll tell the business we passed your details to.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses your browser's storage to remember campaign details and a random visit number for the length of your visit, and the date of your first visit, so they can be attached to your request. If we use analytics or advertising tools, they may set cookies to measure visits and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
7. How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to records is limited to people who need it, and our providers maintain their own security controls. We keep consent records for as long as needed to show that contact was requested, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, and then securely delete or de-identify them.
8. Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@allinsured.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
9. Privacy complaints
If you think we've breached your privacy, please contact our Privacy Officer at info@allinsured.com.au. We'll acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992.
For complaints about a quote, a policy or a claim, see our complaints page.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
